About this listing

A striking example of mid-century Scandinavian art glass, dating to the 1960s and attributed to the renowned Danish glassmaker Holmegaard. Beautifully formed in richly saturated cobalt blue cased glass, with a contrasting pale lavender-blue interior, this elegant vase features a distinctive tiered, rounded body, gently flared rim and clear glass pedestal foot. The bold colour, sculptural silhouette and beautifully glossy finish make this an eye-catching example of Scandinavian modernist design.
