About this listing

A gorgeous example of this sought after tube-lined pottery in cobalt blue with burgundy, purple and green flowers and leaves in the anemone pattern. Use it for it's intended purpose as a powder bowl in the bedroom, or on the sideboard as a trinket box or for nuts or similar. Stands approximately 7 cm high to the top of the knob, approx 11 cm in diameter. Has an impressed signature, which I believe is that of William - happy to be corrected if you know better. According to this one, the mark dates it to between 1928 and 1949 https://www.peakantiquesandcollectables.co.uk/products/william-moorcroft-powder-bowl-anemone-c1928-1949 Also has Made in England, which was added after 1918 and Potter to HM The Queen (which meant Queen Mary not Elizabeth) - https://antique-marks.com/moorcroft-marks.html No damage. NB: I am currently listing items on behalf, from my father's extensive antique collection - https://www.trademe.co.nz/MyTradeMe/Sell/Current.aspx Current items will include Satsuma, Cloisonne, Kutani - later there will be British and Continental items. **I do NOT offer to watchers, if you want it you will need to bid ** Contact within 3 days, payment within 5 unless by prior arrangement please ** Happy to send non breakable items overseas (please ask if you are unsure), otherwise NZ resident bidders only please. Having a clear out - check out my other listings, women's footwear and clothing, books, jewelry, antiques and collectibles. Happy to combine postage, but may require some additional postage if it greatly increases the size of the bag or box. **To avoid delays please send address through Trademe
